Medhavi Chatravritti MP Scheme

Medhavi Chatravritti Yojana is a merit scholarship scheme launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Department of School Education. The scheme provides financial assistance to meritorious students of the state pursuing higher and professional education. The objective is to encourage academic excellence and ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented students from accessing quality education.

Eligibility

Students who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh and have secured high marks in Class 10, 12 or graduation examinations are eligible. The scheme covers students pursuing higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. Family income should be below the threshold set by the government. Students should have at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

Benefits

Scholarship amount varies based on the course and level of study. Tuition fees and maintenance allowance are covered for the entire duration of the course. The scholarship is renewed annually based on academic performance with minimum 60% marks in the previous year.
